My children and I are in desperate need of some financial assistance. To make a long story short, I recently lost my job and we had to move back in with my parents because we could not afford to be on are own. My mother and I have never really seen eye to eye but I thought it would be best to try and make this as enjoyable as it could be while we had to live there. It has now almost been a year and lately things have gotten really bad. Last month we got into 2 arguments and both of them, rather then try and talk things out my parents through my children and myself out of the house. This past time my 8 year old son and I slept in our car at the truck stop for 3 days. I was trying to explain how I feel and she blew up and then my father picked up a chair and started coming toward myself and my daughter. Again they through us out and this time called the police on us for taking our van with us because my father gave it to us after my car died that he told me to get rid of even though I had a friend who was going to fix it very cheap. Who does this kind of thing to their children, epecially their grandchildren! My kids mean the world to me and I need to get them out of this house. They are effected by everthing that is going on and has happened that my daughter is never home anymore. I have been actively looking for a job and know that I will find one soon because I do have a very qualified resume but we don't have that kind of time. We need out of there NOW! We really need help with the first and last months rent so that we can move immediately. I know I will find employment so we will be okay after that, I just don't have the time to find a job and wait to get paid and save that kind of money. It coud take months and all I keep thinking about is the look on my daughters face when my father picked that chair up and what if next time he does hit us with it. I can't afford to take that chance. If anyone can help or knows any agency that can PLEASE email me right away. Even if I have to take out a loan somewhwere, I don't care. I am going back to school in the fall and will have some left over school money to help pay it back so I am not worried, I just need it before then. If you know anyone who can help my family I would greatly appreciate it. I need first months rent and last months, and would like enough to get the utilities hooked up too then by the time anything is due again I should be employed. Unfortunatley, rent in our community runs between $600.00 and $800.00 so I was looking for around $2000.00 so I can pay up the utilities as well. I understand that today everyone is struggling to make ends meet and anything anyone can do to help would be greatly appreciate it. Like I said even if I have to pay it back. Please, I know you do not know my entire life story but trust me when I tell you that my children have been through enough hurt in their lives and they do not need anymore pain.
